Slow day at work today?
:)

I like how people in Toronto refer to Brampton as the sticks, as though it's some sort of small community full of pickup driving hicks. (Apparently it's also full of East Indians).

Folks, I've been to small communities full of pickup driving hicks. And Brampton, you are no small community full of pickup driving hicks.

you're preaching to the choir

i know, i know . . .
apparently brampton also has loads of people on welfare who cash their cheques at the money mart just to buy cigarettes and booze. i mean, this ain't such a bad place to live. it's all stereotypes. oh well.

mind you . . .

just outside of brampton, before you reach georgetown, is Norval. now there is hickville - for real. my friend has a house out there. nice land and such . . . this is where Nashville North (the country bar) resides. I funking good time, if you're looking for one in the sticks. Line dancing, 10 gallon hats, cowboy boots are pretty and polished, tassle, you name it it is there. these people are all authentic. you would think you have died and gone to texas. it is a great time, lots of girls and guys mid-20's too.
i do recommend

My cousin's live their (as you may remember from such events as: Paul walks by Nick and Zeynep at the Patio at Jack Astor's and ignores Nick to talk to Zeynep!), and I've never felt it was that bad. Especially if you could work in Brampton.

Then you're 45 min from downtown, if you want to do that stuff, or half an hour from the country/Orangevill, if you want to take off to somewhere smaller on the weekend.

oh yeah

I forgot - i am still not talking to you because of the Jack Astor's incident. Self-righteous fucker . . .

maybe brampton is a hick-town . . . after all, my friends routinely call each other crackers . . . in the Chris Rock derogatory way . . .
