I think

That you're right.

Now, I've never actually drank a coffee. So I may not be the most qualified person. But I like coffee crisps, and I'm pretty sure I wouldn't like coffee.

I read a book once where they described making a drink that tastes like coffee smells like. That's what a coffee crisp is. It tastes like what a coffee smells like, not what it tastes like.

nice to know

phduffy - if that's the case, then would you say its the same thing with all candies and such? That all flavours don't necessarily taste like the real thing, but insted how they smell? I guess that would explain why I love to eat raspberry and blueberry candies yet hate the actual fruits....very interesting....

Like I said, I've never actually had a coffee. So I don't know what it tastes like.

I shouldn't have said that a coffee crisp tastes like what coffee smells like.
I should have said "I think that a coffee crisp.....". I have no idea if it's true or not.

mmmm coffee...

I don't think that coffee crisps taste like coffee as much as they taste like cappuccinos! The only difference between a coffee and a cappuccino is that a cappuccino has more sugar and milk.
And for that matter, I think that coffee cakes, coffee ice creams, etc all taste like cappuccinos!
I guess it just takes too much effort to say "Cappuccino Crisp" or "cappuccino cake"..... you get the drift...

I dig that!

Ok, I actually agree with you!

I think the cappucino flavour is just right for the coffee crisp. Its all there, the creamy foamy milk, the subtle sugary taste, the orgasmic cookie crunch...oh wait.

Yeah, Kris, it's like, banana flavouring = sick, disgusting chemical thing that should be banned.

Desserts made with actual bananas? Delicious.
