So now that I use re-usable grocery bags for the majority of my grocery purchases, I have slowly been working my way through my stockpile of old grocery bags (seriously, the space underneath my sink was full of them a few years ago), using them as garbage bags. Which fit perfectly into my bathroom and kitchen garbage cans :)

So now what? Is everyone buying garbage bags? Doesn't that seem just as wasteful as using grocery bags?

Do the majority of you buy biodegradable grocery bags?

What's the best brand?

It's time for me to buy.

I think one of the deals with the grocery store plastic bags is that there was a lot of those that would just get thrown out without this dual use you were using them for.

So it's a net positive, but yeah, now you have to buy bags for your garbage.

Yeah, I ran out of grocery bags ages ago, so now I buy biodegradable garbage bags.

Ask people at your work for their bags
