Eh? The first man listed was charged for 'prostition'? Solicitation is the offer of sex for money right? Is prostitution the charge for taking the offer?

Here's an interesting thought on the website (which was emailed to be by a friend):

Interesting website of the day. I checked out Akron's crime prevention site to see who else they'd posted... probably some rapists, pedophiles, murderers, and the like, right? Nope. Just prostitutes. Since when is consensual, paid-for sex is a greater threat to community safety than forcible rape or aggrevated assault? Sounds suspiciously Christian.

Sure enough, the Akron Police department's Annual Report contains a 'Letter from the Reverend': http://publicsafety.ci.akron.oh.us/police/pdf/annualreports/2007_Annual_Report.pdf. Turns out the reverend writes the curriculum for officer training, which focuses on "law enforcement/spirituality", whatever that might entail. Oh, and fighting the "powers of evil". Prostitutes, I guess.

Shocking, but not really surprising.
