I am sort of tempted to photoshop together Paul and Stephen's faces to see what their love child would look like.

Lionsgate Films just bought the movie rights to "Atlas Shrugged," and Ayn Rand fans Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are rumored to be interested in the lead roles. (Variety)

I thought that Brad and Angelina were alright people..
If celebs aren't scientologists, sluts or just stupid in general .. they MUST be Randian fucks....

Goddamn.. aren't any celebrities halfway normal?

Other things not to tell people

I've also found people going through hard times hate to be told "It'll be alright" or something to that effect. I once had a girlfriend insist that I never say that to her. After she broke up with me, people insisted on saying those things and it just drove me mad. Also, don't say "suck it up" or "deal with it."

Also, despite the fact that I think hyper-capitalist egoists will destroy the world, I do subscribe to the idea that if you seriously put your mind to it, you can achieve anything if you believe in yourself. It's a pretty trite thing to pull from an Ayn Rand novel, but I was only like 16 at the time when I read it, so that's where I got it from. Also, the idea that one should not subscribe to ideas (or bromides, as she loved to call them) just because they are widely accepted is also a good one, but that is not in any way a breakthrough that Ayn Rand made, and it goes by a different, more common name: critical thinking.
